Product Marketing Manager

Twistlock’s Product Marketing Manager (PMM) connects Twistlock’s product and marketing teams, combining technical know-how and marketing acumen to deliver effective marketing content and promote Twistlock’s product both internally and externally. The primary job responsibilities of the PMM are:

The primary job responsibilities are:

  1. Working with Twistlock’s product team to develop technical and product-focused marketing materials.
  2. Educating Twistlock’s sales organization on product features, company messaging and providing support throughout the selling process.
  3. Evangelizing Twistlock as a technology and a company at industry events, in meetings with prospective customers, and via webinar + other online channels.
  4. Working with the customer success team to collect and distill user feedback into case studies and other collateral.
  5. Conducting market and competitive research to inform Twistlock marketing strategies and messaging tactics.

The ideal PMM has 5+ years in a product management or technical marketing role. The PMM needs to have an understanding of current trends in the DevOps and application security domains – and the technical skills to evangelize and demonstrate Twistlock’s platform. The PMM must be able to juggle competing priorities and strike the right balance of technical detail and high-level message when creating content. This position requires up to 30% travel.

Twistlock is a global team with global customers. The PMM must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly organized, comfortable working with remote teams, and have meaningful experience in a distributed organization.

The PMM reports to Twistlock’s VP of Marketing, and is ideally located in our Portland, OR office.
