Today, Twistlock officially becomes part of Palo Alto Networks. This is the end of an amazing chapter in many of our lives, one that would never have been possible without the support and trust of you, our customers. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to not just build a better enterprise security product but to be a better, genuine partner to our customers. We’ve always tried to be humble, practical, and thankful for the opportunity to work with you and we operated under the golden rule of treating you how we ourselves would want to be treated. In turn, you helped us grow from our very first customer (hey to my friends in Pittsburgh!) in 2016 to having more than 35% of the Fortune 100 and 75% of US government cabinet level departments as customers. These past four years have been amongst the most meaningful of many of our lives and we’ll always be grateful to you for the trust you placed in us to make that happen.
It’s cliche after an acquisition to talk about how excited you are and how much better everything will be but in this case, we really mean it. I honestly don’t believe there’s another company with a better vision for the future of security, nor one that better aligns with our own, than Palo Alto Networks. The addition of Twistlock will strengthen the Prisma cloud security suite. Once combined, we will deliver the world’s most complete and comprehensive cloud security suite that spans from provider to infrastructure to modern app and throughout the software development lifecycle.
Together we’ll go further and faster than we could on our own. We’ll continue to measure our success by the value we provide to you and continue to look at your requests and feedback as valuable fertilizer for the product. While there are always changes, I’m enthusiastic about what we’re going to be able to build together for you.
Thanks for the opportunity, thanks for your trust, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!
